FAQ:

1. How much do we have to pay to join?

- A range of packages are available, ranging from $140 to $250 depending on your needs. Please find more information here.

2. Is the $250 including traveling fees?

-No. There will be an additioinal travel fees of approximately $190 return from Canberra to Brisbane.

We are considering option of going via

i) Virgin blue : Canberra - Brisbane departing 1st July and returning 4th july (current price $230)
ii) Greyhound and Jetstar: Canberra - Sydney - Brisbane departing 1st July and retuning 4th July (current price $190)
iii)Vline interstate train: Canberra - Sydney - Brisbane departing 30th June and returning 4th July (current price $110 but 14 hours travel)

Judging from the increasing tickets price now, we are most likely to travel via Jetstar. MASCA ACT will make a group booking once everyone has confirmed their details.

3. Can we return to Canberra at a different date?

-Yes. Some of you might want to stay around Brisbane and head down to Gold Coast, which you should if you have not been there and it's just an hour away by bus. Therefore, if you require a different date to come back from Brisbane please let us know.

4.  Will there be a subsidy?

-Yes. At the moment, MASCA ACT is looking around $35 of subsidy per participants, which will cost us ($35 x 66 = $2,310). However, we are still waiting for sponsorship reply from 35 companies and hopefully there will be favourable replies. Any sponsorship funds that comes in is channeled directly towards subsidizing our participants. Please note that we are a non- profit organization so $2310 of subsidy is a considerable amount of money. Supporters will not  be subsidised.

5. I am not sure of going, what's the benefit?

-First of all you'll get a certificate of participation from Ministry of Education Malaysia, similar to what some of you might have gotten from the recent MASCA ACT sports carnival. Secondly, you'll get to meet Malaysians from all over the states Victoria, NSW, WA, Tasmania etc and it's a good opportunity to build up networking. Thirdly, you'll get to enjoy the fabulous Malaysian Night - Masquerade theme this year with performances from MASCA Idol of each states.

6. Is our team strong?

- OF COURSE. We hope that all players starts training as early as possible. We are targeting 2nd place this year.
