[ Simply put, the differing perspectives, expectations, hopes and sentiments of Malaysia to each and every individual ]
Venue: Royal Theatre, National Convention Centre, Canberra
Ticket price: $49

Set
to revive the echoes and spirit of Merdeka in a foreign land, it is an
evening of patriotism, elegance, and style; a fine dining setting
organized with hope to kinder relationships among Malaysians in
Canberra, and also to bridge the Malaysian and local communities through one multi-hued event.
So
come and join us at the majestic Royal Theatre of the National
Convention Centre, Canberra. Experience the diverse and unique culture
of Malaysia through the various traditional performances throughout the
night, and expect to be lavished with authentic Malaysian cuisine. (Think daging rendang, ikan assam pedas, lodeh, gado gado.. ) To add to the excitement, we would also be having raffle prizes up for grabs, with a return ticket to Malaysia as the top prize.
To
Malaysians, it is your one opportunity to meet up with all the other
Malaysians who are living in Canberra, to network, to recognize your
leaders and to know who to seek when in need of familiarity and help.
To
the locals and other internationals, this is your golden opportunity to
witness the undying spirit of nationalism and union portrayed by
Malaysians despite the physical distance of home from Canberra, and of
course, to join in the fun!
